Our services

Everything your website needs, in one place.

From the first sketch to ongoing care. You focus on running your business, I handle the website.

  • Website design and build. Modern, mobile-first sites built to bring in real enquiries, not just to look pretty.
  • Care and hosting. Updates, daily backups, security patches, and hosting that serves each visitor from the data centre closest to them, so pages load faster. One less thing to worry about.
  • Domain and email setup. Your professional domain and business email, configured properly the first time.
  • Security and performance. DMARC, SPF and DKIM email security, plus SSL and speed tuning to keep you safe and fast.

The difference

Most websites are built to look good. Mine are built to hold up.

A security background changes how a site gets built: what gets locked down, what gets monitored, and what never gets bolted on in the first place.

How a security-conscious build differs
  • HTTPS, security headers and sensible defaults from day one, not patched in later.
  • Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) so your domain is harder to spoof.
  • Daily backups and uptime monitoring, so problems are caught early.
  • No plugin sprawl: a small, maintained set of dependencies with security updates applied.
  • Forms that validate input properly and never expose more data than they need to.

Who you’re working with

One person, start to finish.

Not a faceless agency and not a hobbyist. Sutherland Cyber is a registered UK company run by Kyle Sutherland BSc (Hons) RITTech MBCS, based on the Lincolnshire coast and working with businesses across the UK.

Plans from £49/month, month to month after launch. Fixed prices, always in writing.

What clients say

In their own words.

How it works

From first message to live site within a week.

  1. You get in touch

Tell me what you need, or pick a plan on the pricing page. I reply within one working day.

  2. Quote and one conversation

A fixed price in writing, then half an hour where I ask the questions. Nothing to fill in and nothing to prepare.

  3. I write it and build it

The words and the site come together within a week, with previews along the way so nothing's a surprise.

  4. Launch and look after

We go live, and I keep it fast, secure and backed up for as long as you're on a plan.

What you actually have to do

The usual way round is that most of the work lands on you: chasing the old host, writing the words, filling in a questionnaire asking what your own business does. Here is your side of it instead.

Your side

  • One conversation

About half an hour, on the phone or in person. I ask the questions. You do not have to prepare anything.

  • The few facts only you have

Your prices, your hours, the area you cover, anything you are qualified in. I will not write those for you, because they have to be true and you are the only one who knows them.

  • Read it and say yes, or say what is wrong

The words and the design arrive finished. Changing them is a reply, not a rewrite, and there is no limit on how many times before we go live.

Optional

Photos of your own

If you have photos of your own work, your premises or your team, send them, even phone ones. Nothing else on a small business website earns trust the same way. If you have not got any, I will sort the images, and no stock or generated picture will ever be presented as your work, your team or your premises.

My side

  • Chasing your current host, or whoever built the last site, including when they are slow about it.
  • Your web address, moved or repointed, whichever is actually the right one.
  • Every page written for you, from what you told me in that conversation.
  • The design, the build, the launch, and the images if you have not got your own.
  • Your business email set up, with the old one still working until the new one is.

About your web address

Most of the time it does not need to move at all. It stays registered where it is and I point it at the new site, which takes minutes and cannot leave you without a website or email halfway through. If you do want it away from your old host, I will chase them for it. One part of that only you can do, because the rules say the person the address is registered to has to authorise the move: that is one email you forward or one box you tick. If your old host charges a release fee, that is theirs and not mine, and you will know before you pay anything.

About the words

Your pages are written around what you actually do and where you do it, so people searching for it can find you. That is not a promise about rankings, which nobody can honestly make. It is a promise that you will never be handed a blank page and asked to write your own.

Recent work

Built end to end, not from templates.

Live client sites in Lincolnshire, alongside demonstration builds for cafés, trades and studios. Every card says which it is.

What happens if it goes wrong

Two promises, both specific enough to hold me to. Every agency says it cares; these are the versions that cost me something if I am wrong.

The 24 Hour Restore Promise

My site will break and I will not be able to reach anyone.

If your site goes offline and I have not restored it within 24 hours, your next month is free.

You are not buying a support queue. If the site is down, it is one person's job to get it back, and there is a cost to me if I do not. No ticket number, no hold music, no wondering whether anyone has noticed.

The 30 Day Walk Away

I will pay and it will be rubbish.

If you do not like the site in the first 30 days, you get your money back and you keep the domain.

You see the finished site before you are committed to it. If it is not right, you are not stuck with it, and you do not lose the web address your customers already have.

Both are written into the terms in the same words, so the promise and the contract match.

  • The 24 Hour Restore Promise

Site offline and not restored within 24 hours? Your next month is free.

  • You own everything

Your domain, your content, your accounts. Always.

  • Faster for your customers

Served from the data centre nearest each visitor. Uptime monitoring built in.
